Serenity Senior Living Home LLC (“Serenity,” “we” or “us”) operates Serenity Senior Living Home, a licensed residential care facility for the elderly at 1036 Stanford Dr., Simi Valley, CA 93065 (License # 565850788). This policy covers serenityseniorhome.com and the calls, texts, chats and emails you exchange with us.

What we collect

• What you tell us. When you request a tour or ask a question: your name, phone number and email, who you’re asking for, when care is needed, the best times to reach you and anything else you choose to add. When you apply for a job: your contact details, work history, availability, certifications and resume.
• Our conversations. We keep a record of the calls, texts, chat messages and emails you exchange with us. This can include call recordings, transcripts and message history. An automated assistant may answer some calls and website chats and pass your message to our team.
• Basic technical information. Like most websites, ours and the providers that run it may collect your device and browser type, the pages you visit and your approximate location, using cookies and similar tools.

Please don’t send detailed medical information through the website or by text. We’ll talk through your family member’s care needs with you in person or by phone.

How we use it

• To answer your questions and arrange tours.
• To talk with you about care, availability and moving in.
• To review job applications and schedule interviews.
• To send the text messages you agreed to receive.
• To keep this website working and secure, and to understand how it’s used.
• To meet our legal and licensing obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Text messaging

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we use it to reply to you and to send the messages you agreed to. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. The details are in our Terms & Text Messaging.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that run our website, phone, text, chat, email and records systems, only so they can provide those services to us.
• Authorities, when the law requires it, for example a lawful request from a licensing or law-enforcement agency, or when it’s needed to protect someone’s safety.
• A new owner, if Serenity is ever sold or reorganized, who must follow this policy.

We don’t share your information with God’s Hand Home Care or any other company for their own marketing.

Resident information

Information about the people who live at Serenity, such as care plans and medical and medication records, is kept confidential as California licensing rules require. It isn’t handled through this website, and this policy doesn’t change those rules.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries and conversation records for as long as they’re useful for helping you and your family, and job applications for as long as employment law requires. After that we delete them or remove what identifies you.

How we protect it

We use reasonable safeguards and limit access to the people who need it. No website or messaging system is completely secure, so we can’t promise that information will never be exposed.

Your choices

• Reply STOP to any of our texts to stop receiving them.
• Email info@serenityseniorhome.com to ask what information we have about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it. We may need to keep records the law requires.
• Most browsers let you block or delete cookies.

Children

This website isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
